We meet at Vögeligärtli on Frankenstrasse 12, right between the two Lucerne Christmas markets. Rudolfs Weihnacht at Inseli-Park is directly on the other side of the railway station, and the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt on Franziskanerplatz is about a seven-minute walk away. In teams you complete 18 missions in 75 minutes and decide yourselves which task to do at which market. The first cup is already paid for: every ticket includes a drink voucher for Rudolfs Weihnacht, one hot drink with or without alcohol. We play in any weather, fun comes first.

Right between two markets
Rudolfs Weihnacht is in Inseli-Park on Lake Lucerne, the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt on Franziskanerplatz in the old town. Our meeting point at Vögeligärtli is in between: Rudolfs is directly on the other side of the railway station, and Franziskanerplatz is about a seven-minute walk away.
More fun and more exciting than strolling
In teams you try to complete 18 tasks in 75 minutes. Every mission earns points, and at the end you meet up again for a drink.
A warming drink is included
Everyone gets a drink voucher for Rudolfs Weihnacht. One hot drink with or without alcohol, you decide on the spot.
Available from 20 November
Rudolfs Weihnacht opens on 20 November 2026 and is open Monday to Saturday until 10 pm, later in the evening than the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt. So you can play early in Advent, before everyone's calendar fills up.
The weather is secondary
We play in rain, snow and cold. You choose your own route, take shelter now and then, for example in the covered pavilions at Rudolfs, and warm up with mulled wine. So far every group has been absolutely thrilled, fun comes first.
From 6 to over 99
It starts from 6 people, and we have not found an upper limit yet. From a small team to the whole company.
Languages
German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Each team chooses its own language on its team page. In international companies every team plays in its own language, without anyone having to translate.

Meeting point at Vögeligärtli
We meet at Vögeligärtli on Frankenstrasse 12, at the steps in front of the library, right next to Lucerne railway station. We split you into teams of 3 to 5 people, briefly explain the rules, and off you go.

18 missions, one goal.
Each team gets 18 tasks. You decide yourselves at which market, where and in which order you complete them.

Points on your team page
For every completed mission you send a photo or short video to our GameMaster, who confirms the point right away. Afterwards you watch the best shots together.

Award ceremony your way
After 75 minutes it's over. You stay at Rudolfs and redeem your drink vouchers or come back to the meeting point, just as you like. We hold the award ceremony at the meeting point, or someone from your group does it on site or later at the restaurant.

Rudolfs Weihnacht and the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt
From the meeting point, Rudolfs Weihnacht is directly on the other side of the railway station, and the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt is about a seven-minute walk away. From 3 to 21 December you play at both markets, from 20 November to 2 December and on 22 and 23 December at Rudolfs.
Your playing field: Rudolfs Weihnacht at Inseli-Park
- Where: Inseli-Park, Werftsteg, 6005 Lucerne. Right on Lake Lucerne, just 350 metres from Lucerne railway station.
- Open: 20 November to 23 December 2026. Monday to Saturday 11 am to 10 pm, Sunday 11 am to 8 pm.
- Opening and closing day: Opening on Friday, 20 November, at 5 pm. The last day is Wednesday, 23 December, until 10 pm. Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm only half of the market is open.
- What's there: Mulled wine, food from the region and from afar, a raclette stand and the Gschänkli gift market with exhibitors changing weekly. Indoors you'll find the Fondue Chalet and the Music Chalet with a fireplace, with a DJ at weekends. Everything is served in reusable tableware.
- Payment: cashless almost everywhere, so bring a card for extra drinks.
About a seven-minute walk from the meeting point: the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt
- Award-winning: In 2025 the travel magazine «Time Out» ranked it number 8 of the ten most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe.
- Around 70 market stalls: on Franziskanerplatz, in the heart of the historic old town around the Franciscan Church.
- Open: 3 to 21 December 2026, daily from 11 am. Market stalls until 8 pm, food stalls until 9 pm, until 7 pm on the last day.
- The largest Advent wreath in Central Switzerland sits on the Franciscan Fountain, more than three metres across, with hundreds of lights and four candles a metre tall. If you get lost, this is where you'll find each other again.
- Music almost every day: Choirs, brass groups and local ensembles perform on the stage in front of the Franciscan Fountain.

- Start times: latest finish 10 pm, so the last start is at 8 pm. On Sundays Rudolfs closes at 8 pm, so we agree the time with you. On the opening day, 20 November, Rudolfs only opens at 5 pm.
- Period: available from 20 November to 23 December 2026, while Rudolfs Weihnacht is open. The Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt joins from 3 to 21 December.

When can Christmas Market Missions be booked?
From 20 November to 23 December 2026, while Rudolfs Weihnacht is open. Rudolfs is open Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm, on the opening day from 5 pm. The Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt on Franziskanerplatz runs from 3 to 21 December.
How long does the adventure take?
The playing time is 75 minutes. Including the introduction, team split and evaluation, plan for about two hours in total.
What is the latest start time?
The latest finish is 10 pm, when Rudolfs closes too. As you plan about two hours including the introduction, game and evaluation, the latest start is 8 pm. On Sundays Rudolfs closes at 8 pm, so we agree the start time with you.
Can we already play in November?
Yes. Rudolfs Weihnacht opens on Friday, 20 November 2026, at 5 pm. From 3 December the Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt joins. After 23 December both markets are over.
What if the weather is bad?
We play in any weather. Because you choose your own route, you can adapt it flexibly and take shelter now and then. Warm clothes and comfortable shoes are enough, the mulled wine does the rest. So far every group has been absolutely thrilled, fun comes first. If the weather gets too nasty, we are happy to reschedule your date with you.
In which languages can we play?
In German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Each team chooses its own language on its team page, so every team gets the full fun of the game.
What do we need to bring?
One smartphone per team with internet and a full battery. One person per team handles communication with the GameMaster. Plus comfortable shoes, warm clothes and good spirits.

Can people with limited mobility take part?
Yes. Each team chooses its own route and sets its own pace. Rudolfs Weihnacht is accessible via gravel and paved paths.
Is the game suitable as a company Christmas party?
Yes, very much so. Many companies play first and then go out for dinner together. Right on site, the Fondue Chalet at Rudolfs seats 140 people indoors. The award ceremony can then take place over dinner.
